MEMBER ENGAGEMENT SECTOR
Socials & Receptions Committee

Plan social and special events held by the Association (ex. curling bonspeil, annual BBQ, New Teacher Welcome, and more!)
Superannuates Reception Committee
Chair: Melissa Gerlach
Exec Liaison: Tara Dryburgh
Plan the annual reception for the teachers superannuating that school year
Convention Committee (Joint w/RCSTA)

Plans the annual Teacher Convention
Advocacy Committee

Runs events on issues that relate to the teaching profession in Regina Public & beyond
Substitute Teacher Committee

Engage with substitute teachers within Regina Public Schools to provide timely communications and get feedback
Political Action Committee

Engages with political actors and issues, in and around Regina, on issues important to the members of the RPSTA
LOCAL IMPLEMENTATION & NEGOTIATION COMMITTEE (LINC) SECTOR
Local Implementation & Negotiation Committee (LINC):
Chair: Devon Peters
Responsible for negotiating a Local Collective Bargaining Agreement, pursuant to Section 235 of The Education Act, 1995
LINC Advisory
Chair: Devon Peters
Advises LINC on matters relating to bargaining including surveys, negotiation package and communications
LINC Teacher Workload Review Committee (Joint w/Board)
Chair: Tara Dryburgh
Established pursuant to Article 16 of the Local Collective Bargaining Agreement, this committee reviews new and existing work practices, processes and procedures in an effort to find efficiencies that result in reduced workload for teachers
LINC Professional Development Advisory Committee (PDAC) (Joint w/Board)
Chair: Nick Day
Makes recommendations to the School Division Director concerning the approximate percentage allocation of the locally negotiated Professional Development Fund
Substitute Joint Committee (Joint w/Board)
Chair: Devon Peters
Established pursuant to Article 7.06 of the Local Collective Bargaining Agreement, addresses matters relating to the Substitutes and the experience of Substitute Teachers employed by Regina Public Schools.
School Year Calendar Calendar Advisory Committee (Joint w/Board)
Chair: Terri Pennington
Established pursuant to Article 16 of the Local Collective Bargaining Agreement, addresses matters relating to the Regina Public School Division Calendar.
STF COUNCILLOR SECTOR
Resolutions Committee
Co-Chairs: Alex Schmidt & Tyson Buhler
Surveys the membership to identify resolution topics, and researches, develops and submits resolutions to the STF
Mini-Council & Study Session Committee
Chair: Allison Getz
Plans and runs the "Mini-Council" session for all members, where members can provide feedback on resolutions going to STF Council and the Councillor-only "Study Session" event where Councillors discuss resolutions & member feedback.

Responsible for the content of the RPSTA website & social media accounts
