General Elections Information for All Members
Elections for the 2025/26 school year will take place in May. The voting days for each election are as follows:
If you don't receive a ballot, please contact [email protected] & [email protected] immediately - mention your name and school in the email.
On May 16th and 23rd, voting will close at 4:00PM - No late ballots accepted.
- Executive - May 15th & 16th - 2025
- Councillors - May 22nd & 23rd - 2025

Want to Get Involved? Elections Procedures and Candidate Information
This year, the following positions are available:
- 6 Executive Councillor positions - five 2-year terms and one 1-year term
- 14 Councillors positions - all 1 year terms
- 1 Substitute Councillor position - 1 year term. If no substitutes apply, this becomes an additional Councillor spot.
- Fill out a Nomination Form (below, corresponding to the position you are interested in) and submit a scanned version by Wednesday, May 7th @ 4:30PM to [email protected]. In-person submissions also available @ RPSTA Offices (2161 Scarth St #201, Regina, SK). If we are out, simply slide them under the door
