LINC stands for the "Local Implementation Negotiation Committee." Due to the bi-level bargaining nature of the STF, we have both local and provincial agreements. Each RPSTA teacher is affected by what is found in both contracts; We encourage you to read them closely.
Our current contract with Regina Public Schools expired in June 2018. The team began negotiations with our Board of Education in early 2018 and these meetings are ongoing.
As of November, 3, 2020, LINC is currently undertaking a review of Article 14.02.02. Until the review is complete, no further school exemptions will be accepted at this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The LINC chair is Melissa Gerlach and she can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org
Members of the negotiation team are advised on decisions and strategies by the LINC Advisory Committee, made up of a number of teachers from our division. We are grateful for their involvement. If you are interested in joining the Advisory Committee please contact the LINC chair at the email address above.
